In my twenties, I focused on spiritual growth. I figured that “the good life” consisted of finding inner peace. However, by age 28, I had zero money and was forced to spend the next two years living in my car. I was clearly not living the good life. Finally I decided that, in this world, having money can certainly add to the quality of your life — so I learned the art of getting rich. Now I’m a millionaire, and life is definitely good. Yet, I see most people struggle with money — which gives them less time to spend enjoying the things they really value. If you'd like to get rich without selling your soul, here are 12 tips that can get you there efficiently, and with a minimum of difficulty.

1. Know Why You Want More Money: If you want to make money easily, connect with your reasons why you want more. Do you want a Tesla, or do you really want the best for your kids, your health, or maybe helping people in need? Once you feel good about how you would use extra money, it makes it much easier to stay motivated to make it.

2. Fix the “Holes” in Your “Money Balloon”: Here’s an analogy: Let’s say you’re trying to inflate a balloon — but there’s a problem. It has a tiny hole in it.
